"Pettigrew’s study of LORAH is an insightful, fascinating look at the chaos, determination, anger, and dedication that went into creating Ministry’s landmark album. Somehow, he crams so much information about the album, touring, promotion, and everything in between without it feeling verbose or overwhelming. It’s a great deep dive into the album that fans new and old are sure to enjoy."
Had a great time chatting with Michael "Baxie" Baxendale about my micro-tome on Ministry's LORAH LP. I'd meet the guy for coffee and record shopping anytime, but I think it might get awkward when we both reach for the same record at the same time. Or maybe we'd walk out of the store empty-handed because we already own what the store has to offer. The important thing to know is that if you're of a certain length of tooth that remembers when "college rock" was a viable marketing term, before we started saying "alternative," you can lose a couple of days listening to a plethora of episodes that this diehard music guy has recorded. I feel honored to be included, and I'd like to shout out to April Whitney for making it happen. Listen on rock102.com, Apple, Spotify or Soundcloud.
